Spring Teacher Blogger Retreat 2016

I was so excited to attend my first meet up, and the Spring Teacher Blogger Retreat in French Lick did not disappoint!

Luckily, I only live a little over 2 hours away, so Mrs. B and I got up on Saturday morning and headed towards French Lick. We had just enough time to check in to the beautiful French Lick Springs Hotel and explore the resort before heading to the luncheon. We didn't really know anyone else when we got there, so we picked a table and ended up getting to know some other fabulous teachers!

Completing these letters within our tables and then the super fun teacher tool swap, was a great way to get to know other teachers!

Then, on top of all the fun, we all got amazing swag bags! Swooning over the Astrobrights paper, Vera Bradley bag (with a super cute cat pouch inside), Kwik Stix, pencil grips, Creative Paper Collection cards, Erin Condren notes, and so much more! I am so grateful for all the love from these fabulous sponsors!

Look at all these amazing, happy teachers!

For dinner, Mrs. B and I took the super cute trolley over to West Baden and had dinner under the dome. It was a spectacular view! Also, the trolley ride was fun!

One of my favorite parts of the retreat was definitely the 80s party! I love to dress up, so I had a blast picking out my outfit! Mrs. B needed a little more convincing to go all out with the outfit. I have no problem denying that I already owned everything except the vest prior to this event. The vest was a $4 shirt at Goodwill, and I tore the sleeves off to match my outfit a little better. Except I didn't have any scissors with me, so I was just tearing along the seam, and I unfortunately got off track and ending up tearing the wrong seam. Mrs. B saved the day, though, by grabbing a sewing kit from the from desk!

And there was a LEGIT photo booth sponsored by Go Noodle!

SO. MUCH. FUN! Thank you so much, Go Noodle!

And thank you so much to Holly Ehle for planning this AMAZING event! I seriously don't know how she did it, but I had such a blast and I'm so glad I went!
